Workshops and Training That Help Young People Grow

Vocational education is about much more than professional knowledge. Young people learn to take responsibility, work with others, make decisions and keep moving forward when things become difficult.

At the same time, the world of work is changing rapidly. Artificial intelligence, new ways of learning, rising expectations and social change present new challenges for apprentices, young professionals and everyone who supports their development.

Since 2004, I have worked with apprentices, trainers, workplace instructors and young professionals. My workshops combine extensive practical experience with current insights from psychology, learning science, behavioural research and health science.
My focus is not on abstract theory or models that have been repeated for decades without being questioned. The central question is always: What really helps young people learn, grow and succeed today?

• Experience from both perspectives: I work directly with young people as well as with trainers, workplace instructors and organisations responsible for vocational education.
• Current knowledge instead of outdated standard models: New research and developments are reviewed regularly and integrated into my workshops.
• Real situations from everyday working life: The workshops address the questions, expectations and conflicts that actually arise in companies and organisations.
• Active participation instead of passive listening: Exercises, self-assessments, group activities and practical reflection encourage participants to transfer what they learn into their own lives.

Train-the-Trainer Courses
Well Prepared for Exams – and for Working with Apprentices

My compact train-the-trainer courses prepare participants for the German trainer aptitude examination under the AEVO regulations – online or in person.

The courses go beyond exam preparation. Relevant knowledge is connected from the beginning with practical situations from everyday vocational training, and participants receive support throughout their preparation for the examination.

Training for In-Company Trainers
Confidence for Everyone Who Supports Apprentices in the Workplace

Many apprentices are supported not only by formally certified trainers but also by supervisors, specialists and experienced colleagues in their departments.

These workplace trainers have a major influence on how young people experience their vocational training. They explain tasks, support learning processes, provide feedback and deal with challenging situations.

My workshops provide practical guidance, effective training methods and greater confidence in communication for this important role.

Growing into a New Role and Taking Responsibility

Professional development does not end when vocational training or university is completed. New responsibilities, higher expectations and changing roles continue to require orientation, reflection and personal growth.

My workshops help young professionals communicate effectively, organise their work, approach challenges with confidence and gradually grow into their new professional role.

International Cooperation in Vocational Education

Vocational education faces many similar challenges across countries: How can young people be prepared for a changing world of work? How can companies and institutions support trainers and workplace instructors? And how can practical experience, modern learning approaches and international perspectives be brought together?

I am open to cooperation with companies, chambers, associations, educational institutions and public organisations interested in developing vocational education, trainer qualifications and future skills.

Possible formats include workshops, keynotes, train-the-trainer programmes, pilot projects, professional exchange and the joint development of educational concepts.

My professional experience in Germany, my involvement in China and my growing connection with Albania have strengthened my interest in learning from different systems and developing solutions across borders.

Practical Experience for Practical Solutions

Good vocational education cannot be developed from textbooks and theoretical models alone. The small situations, reactions and conversations that occur in direct contact with young people are often just as important.

Since 2004, I have worked intensively with trainers and workplace instructors as well as with apprentices, students and young professionals.

This combination is central to my work: I understand the expectations and challenges faced by companies and institutions while also knowing the questions, uncertainties and perspectives of young people.

The result is not a collection of solutions developed behind a desk, but workshops that consider both sides of vocational education and can be applied in everyday practice.

My experience continues to grow with every workshop, every course and every new group. I have worked across a wide range of sectors, including industry, retail, services, banking, logistics, IT, skilled trades, public administration, chambers and educational institutions.
